La capilla del Hotel Cordial, en Mogán, acogió en la tarde de hoy, Día de los Enamorados, la primera boda religiosa entre dos personas del mismo sexo, la protagonizada por los británicos David y Gary Witt. La boda levantó gran expectación y acogió a cerca de un centenar de invitados, a los que se unieron a las puertas de la iglesia numerosos curiosos y periodistas. Finalmente, Paul Gibson, ofició, a pesar de las negativas manifestadas por la Iglesia Evangelista, la primera unión homosexual en terriotorio español. Los novios, que llevan casi un lustro residiendo en Gran Canaria, se mostraron en todo momento muy nerviosos, aunque poco a poco el ambiente se relajó gracias al oficio del reverendo Paul Gibson.

Un viaggio da incubo sull’EN “Salvador Dalì” Milano-Barcellona con oltre 14 ore di ritardo!

14 ore di ritardo ed un viaggio che ha quasi dell’incredibile. Il 10/11 dicembre 2008 L’EN “Salvador Dalì” da Torino a Barcellona invece delle 12 ore previste, ne ha impiegate più di 26, accumulando un ritardo di oltre 14 ore, con soste incredibilmente ed inspiegabilmente lunghe. Dopo 25 ore di viaggio ci si arrendeva scendendo a Girona, visto che ormai essendo quasi le ore 22 non si era più sicuri della meta. L’unico risvolto positivo è stato il rimborso totale del biglietto e l’offerta dell’hotel a Barcellona (non per noi che siamo scesi a Girona) oltre ai cestini da viaggio offerti durante l’odissea. Anche al ritorno il ritardo è stato di circa un’ora, ma questo ci ha fatto sorridere, rispetto all’andata. Nell’orario del 2003 tale treno partiva da Barcellona alle 20,38 ed arrivava a Torino PS alle 7,30. Ora parte alle 19,38 (un’ora prima) per arrivare alle 8,12 (42 min. dopo), progressi da gambero! Di tutti i miei viaggi, questo è stato quello con il record assoluto del ritardo, all’opposto del “Caledonian Express” che nel giugno 2007, partito da Edimburgo verso le 23, giungeva a Londra con un’ora e mezza di anticipo (alle 5,30 invece delle 7).

This year was a very special Sonar for mobilee and one that will not be easily forgotten! In celebration of ‘Hi Five! mobilee’ we hosted a four day extravaganza of parties lasting the whole week, including the label showcase at City Hall, a party out at sea on the mobilee boat and also, in keeping with tradition, our parties on the rooftop of the Hotel Diagonal in conjunction with guest labels Diynamic and Supplement Facts and in cooperation with Resident Advisor and AKG. It’s certainly taken us a while to recover, but it was 100% worth it.
