In April 1999 the new Botanic Garden of Barcelona was opened. Located in the park on Montjuïc, it is selected into eight sections ( Australia, Chile, Eastern Mediterranien, North Africa, Southafrica, California, Iberian- Balearic islands, Canary islands ) and provides an amazing view of Barcelona.
