From the plentiful array of nautical charts, maps, nagivation instruments and ship figureheads, this museum portrays the rich maritime history of Catalonia, in particular the Catalan Navy.
Wander through the hull-like buildings or head for the tour of Don Juan´s galley and find yourself immersed in the ghastly life of the slaves and prisoners, once chained to their seats, four to an oar, hauling this vessel across the seas.

In addition to the general admission fee, nominal fees are payable to gain entry to other parts of the museum, including the ship Santa Eulàlia, the Sphaera Planetarium and various temporary exhibitions.
